A dear friend gifted me one of your products and I cannot love this checkered blanket enough. It’s almost like it came pre-broken in like a favorite worn shirt. The weight is perfect, the softness is like a hug and the slight stretch Is just right.. seriously, it’s my favorite piece of fabric I own. I wish I had a pair of sweatpants in this fabric. I’d never take them off.

As a blanket addict I am always in search for the perfect blanket! My new cheeky little goat blanket features beautiful fabric with an amazing print. It is also the perfect weight and mixture of fabrics. It is luxurious and will be my go to for gifts for family and friends. I love supporting family businesses and even better when they are from Indiana!

About us

We’re a wife+husband team that started cheeky little goat in the summer of 2021. Here’s our story:

Our best friend runs an amazing boutique called Maple Layne Market and wanted to add snuggly blankets to her shop. Rachael joined her on the hunt for wholesale vendors, but after an exhaustive search their efforts fell short. That's when Rachael got hit with an idea: why not make blankets herself and sell them to her childhood chum!?

Rachael comes from an extended family of talented seamstresses. With a childhood filled with colorful fabric swatches and the soft hum of the sewing machine, this venture feels like a slice of home. During the 2020 pandemic one of Colin’s hobbies was learning how to sew. Fast forward to a million weird projects later and now most of the pants Colin wears are homemade.

Colin’s background is in startups so when Rachael brought up this idea it seemed like the perfect project to do together. We’ve think we’ve done well as parents to our own three cheeky little goats, Gavin, Ben, and Ezra, so this shouldn’t be any different…right?

About our name

If you’re ever picking apples on a farm or enjoying a zoo on a sunny day and you look around and think, “mmk…where the ef did Rachael go?” Chances are very high she found the goats.

Goats have weird eyes and don't take crap from anyone. And they climb on things. They're just delightful!

We like the parts of life that are a little silly and snarky. We love people who are passionate and stand up for themselves, others, and the things in which they believe, even if they get a few weird looks. We are inspired by people who’ve worked hard to find themselves and who are proud to be EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE.

Our cheeky goat is a representation of just that. A kind soul who seeks out curiousities and doesn’t apologize for taking up space.
